The Assistant Studio Manager serves as the studio’s second-in-command and plays a vital role in driving client experience, community engagement, and operational excellence. Working closely with the Studio Manager, the  helps lead all aspects of studio performance, from client acquisition and retention to team development and revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for creating an energetic, high-performing studio culture that reflects Forme’s core values.

• 3+ years of management experience in fitness, hospitality, or related industries.

• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Proven ability to train, motivate, and lead diverse teams.

• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.

• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Dependable, positive, and professional demeanor with a passion for the Forme brand.

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the studio

  • Frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, and stooping (above and below shoulder height)

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed

• Studio Operations

  • Partner with the Studio Manager and Operations leadership to uphold Forme's mission, vision, and values.

  • Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing duties, class check-ins, and overall studio functionality.

  • Lead the team to achieve and exceed goals in class attendance, and retail sales.

  • Analyze key performance metrics (attendance, conversion, utilization, labor) and share insights with leadership to improve results.

  • Support studio business reviews, audits, and facility upkeep to ensure a clean, safe, and inspiring environment.

  • Assist with administrative functions such as scheduling, inventory, and reporting.​​

• Team Leadership & Development

  • Help recruit, train, and develop a high-performing, service-oriented team.

  • Supervise and coach studio staff to deliver an exceptional client experience and uphold hospitality standards.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and motivating workplace culture that encourages accountability and growth.

  • Provide ongoing feedback, recognition, and development opportunities for all team members.

  • Act as the studio leader in the Studio Manager's absence, ensuring continuity of operations and adherence to company policies.​

• Hospitality & Client Experience

  • Partner with the Studio Manager to implement Forme’s hospitality standards and service training programs.

  • Ensure consistency in client care, handling inquiries and escalations with professionalism and urgency.

  • Manage milestone, loyalty, and surprise-and-delight programs to strengthen community engagement and retention.

  • Utilize studio software systems to maintain efficient and responsive client communication.​

• Community & Business Development

  • Build strong, authentic relationships with clients and the surrounding community.

  • Represent Forme’s at local events, fostering brand awareness and driving new client acquisition.

  • Collaborate with the Studio Manager and marketing team to execute national campaigns and local activations.

  • Manage the community engagement budget and evaluate the impact of local initiatives

  • Build Social Media Presence with content ​​​
